Waves and Sunsets

I never tire of taking pictures of my boys especially when we visit the beach. And this night was perfect. A beautiful sunset, perfect tides and my favorite two subjects all rolled into one.

It was opening night of our local farmer's market and after visiting and sampling the fresh produce, we headed down to the beach to let AJ frolic in the sand and water. And of course he eats this up just as he does the sweet peaches and tangy oranges offered by the farmer's just down the street. The beach sand is so much like his favorite playtime friend mud, he finds it irresistible to dig and draw in.

I adore tiny Croc footprint marks in the sand. The tracks and drawings made by a stick in the hand of imaginative toddler. The waves lapping at his feet.

And two sets of inquisitive curious eyes as they gaze out over the water and soft whispers exchanged between just the two of them. Special glorious moments like these make life so meaningful and beautiful.

AJ's First Photo Shoot

A very good friend of mine, Tiffany from Adeline and Grace Photography, gave Angelo and I the gift of a photography session with AJ when he was one month old. She was kind enough to provide a link, so those who did not get a chance to view the slideshow originally may still do so. And if you have already watched it, it is fun to watch it again now, because AJ has grown so much in the last few months and changed from these pictures. I actually started crying when I just watched it again, because it hit me that my newborn baby boy is growing up and has gone from newborn to infant to stage 2 baby. I really really miss those first few weeks and months. But I am looking forward to watching him continue to grow and become our little man. We hope you enjoy... and thanks again Tiffany, I will always cherish these images and never forget those special days thanks to you and your camera. You are the best!
